Announcements and deadlines
The admitted number of students, presentations and teamleaders of any national team and also the maximum time of a presentation have been changed compared to former Conferences. Please notice the new regulations and the International ICYS-Website.
31st of December 2005: Deadline of preliminary registration. Names of teamleaders and number of students and presentations must be announced . If a country wants to send more than 1 team they can ask for it.
16th of January 2006: the countries that want to send more than 1 team will be informed on the number of students that will be accepted. Registration of countries that failed the deadline of preliminary registration will be accepted as far as space is available.
1st of March: registration of all teams is completed.
15th of March: the countries will have transferred the participation-fee of 50 EUR / Person or rather half of the fee (only in accordance with the LOC). The registration fee includes accomodation and meals during the conference.
The names of the students and and the abstracts of their presentations must have been sent to the LOC.
The abstracts in English have to meet the following rules:
The total size must not exceed 2/3 of 1 page, with margins of 2.5 cm on the
left as well as on the right side (we need this margin
size because of the binding of the booklet). The abstracts will be accepted
only either as a word- or as a pdf-file and should contain the title of the
presentation in it´s first line.
Technical hints:
Every room where the presentations will be given has a beamer, transparency
projector and black board. We assume that every team has its own notebook
for their presentations and therefore we will manage that all presentations
of a particular team will be given at different times, so that the students
of one team can share their notebooks. Whenever a team wants us to provide a
notebook (WIN XP, Powerpoint XP, Acrobat Reader 6.0, USB II) they should ask
in advance. Of course we rapidly can deal with a notebook if there are any
(un)expected problems during the session.
